Redesign dangerous Montana 35 intersection

To the editor:

This particular road situation has been on my mind for quite some time - a few years at least - at the Many Lakes exit on Montana 35.

This Many Lakes turnoff is situated at the top of a knoll, and if anyone is driving from either north or south and expects to make a turn in the direction of Many Lakes, the visibility from either direction is all of zero. Because of the rise in the highway you cannot see an oncoming motorist.

As I gather, there is talk by the Montana Highway Department to reconstruct Montana 35 into Bigfork. Now is a very good time to reconstruct this intersection - making it safe for Many Lakes' taxpaying citizens and prevent further accidents in the future.

If anyone of the area is interested in this issue, I will gladly back them to the last ditch.

How about it, people of the Montana Highway Department, are you with me? I know of a lot of taxpaying citizens who are.
