Columbia Falls mayor voted 'no' on city manager

To the editor:

I would like for Mr. Bill Fish to get things straight as to our mayor. Mr. Fish claims in his letter to the editor, August 10, 1995, that our mayor hired a city manager due to his own incompetence.

Well, Mr. Fish, I attend all of the council meetings and Mr. Christman, our mayor, voted no on the issue of a city manager. As for our mayor, he runs the council meetings in a very business-like manner, as his position calls for. Again, he voted no on the hiring of a city manager.

Again, Bill, no hard feelings.
